Therapy for Adults

The alarm goes off in the morning and right away you feel a sense of dread in the pit of your stomach. You just want to pull the covers back over your head. You want to enjoy your time with your loved ones, but instead you feel exhausted, irritable, and anxious.

Can therapy help?

You feel overwhelmed, worried, burned out, or are tired of going through the motions in life. Perhaps others have commented about your symptoms and you feel that your relationships are suffering because of the way you are feeling. Therapy can provide a space for you to acknowledge your experience and feelings, identify your triggers, and explore ways of improving your life.

What therapy offers:

When working with adults in therapy, I use evidence-based practices to help you identify negative thinking patterns and external stressors that may be contributing to the negative feelings you’re experiencing. I will also help you learn communication and coping skills that will work for you so that you can sustain the positive changes you want in your life. Through working together in therapy, you may see an overall improvement in your daily functioning, increase in motivation, and more positive connections with your loved ones.
